These photographs were taken at the end of the trip to the Grutas de la Estrella, or Star Caves. Taxco was about an hour away by car and they said, "hey do you want to see Taxco" and I said why not, so we went. It was already mid-afternoon. Taxco is famous for its silver products although prices do vary even there.
I thought we'd look around, but we spent most of the time Jewelry shopping. With that said I still managed to get a few decent photos. Taxco gets more than its fair share of tourists. It is very tireing to be in Taxco because it was built on a couple mountainsides. As far as I could tell, their central plaza is on top of one of them.
In any case, Taxco is an attractive small city and it would be nice to go back to take a few more photos.
