These were taken from a bus window!
Horizon in Veracruz at Dusk
I love this photo. It was taken from a moving bus in the state of Veracruz. I love the colors and the calm quiet mood that it inspires. I especially like the lone tree to the right.
Horizon with Shadow Trees
The dark trees with the light horizon make an impressive accent photo perfect for that bare space next to a doorway.
A Town between Puebla and Veracruz
This was taken from a bus! I just found it interesting enough to waste some film.
Narrow Streets in Town
Can you believe that a full-sized bus squeezed between these buildings? This was a town in the state of Veracruz that the bus I took went through. I like the shadows and the depth that this photo has.
Blue Sky, White Clouds and Great Views
The view from the road the bus took had great views as it went down winding paths through the mountains. Obviously, I couldn't ask the driver to stop for photos, so I got this one as it slowed for a turn.
Narrow Roads and Named Pickup Trucks
This photo was taken in the same town as the other narrow road photo. Notice how the windshield of the truck has a name. Many Mexicans will name trucks (not cars). It is especially common for large trucks for garbage collection or deliveries. Sometimes the name is the same as the vehicle's owner.
Collectivo Pickup Truck Packed to the Limit
While I was on the bus, I saw a pickup truck coming by stuffed with people. I think this is a kind of "collectivo" which is like a shared taxi between towns and villages. I have never seen people hanging off the back going so fast before.
